It’s possible Mirage may follow suit, but it’s definitely not a day-one release. Though Origins and Odyssey didn’t land on Game Pass on launch day, amthey did eventually make their way to the library. Could Mirage make its way onto Xbox’s subscription service? Or is this Assassin’s Creed title going to follow the series’ history and see a straightforward release? This is all exciting for series fans, but Ubisoft could sweeten the pot a bit more with a Game Pass release. Whereas titles like Origins and Odyssey leaned closer into open-world RPG territory, Mirage is retaining the linearity of earlier entries and reducing role-playing elements. Set in 9th-century Baghdad, Mirage follows a familiar face – Basim Ibn Ishaq from Valhalla – during the Samarra anarchy. It appears Ubisoft is finally listening, and the stealth-focused Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the result, but will it be landing on Xbox Game Pass?
